Yola North PDP Stakeholders Honour Maurice Vunobolki

Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Yola North Local Government Area on Sunday hosted Chief Dr Maurice Michael Vunobolki, PhD, FCA, in recognition of his contributions and support during the recently concluded Local Government Council elections in Adamawa State.

The appreciation gathering brought together party leaders, elected officials, councillors, and political candidates who commended Vunobolki for his commitment to the growth of the PDP and grassroots political development in Yola North.

Delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of the Chairman of Yola North Local Government Council, Hon. Sarah Samuel, Vice Chairperson of the council, expressed gratitude to Vunobolki for his unwavering support and encouragement throughout the election period.

The event was attended by newly elected councillors from Yola North, alongside key PDP candidates, including the party’s candidate for Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Hon. Mohammed Ibrahim Attah, and the PDP candidate for Yola North Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Danjuma MK. Speakers at the gathering praised Vunobolki’s leadership qualities and pledged continued support for his vision and political aspirations.

Responding to the goodwill extended to him, Chief Vunobolki thanked party stakeholders, elected officials, and supporters for the warm reception and confidence reposed in him. He reiterated his commitment to serving the people with humility, dedication, and a shared sense of purpose.
“The task of building a better Adamawa State is a collective responsibility,” Vunobolki said. “Together, with hope, unity, and determination, we can advance the development and prosperity of our state.”

The event concluded on a celebratory note as youths and supporters chanted slogans expressing their admiration and support for the PDP stalwart, reflecting the growing enthusiasm surrounding his political movement across the state.

Political observers on the other hand, view the gathering as another indication of Vunobolki’s rising influence within the PDP and his increasing prominence in discussions surrounding the future leadership of Adamawa State.
