The All Progressives Congress (APC) has intensified its nationwide push toward digitalizing party membership and strengthening political participation as stakeholders in Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State convened for a strategic meeting on the APC E-Registration exercise.
The gathering, held over the weekend, brought together party leaders, elders, youth mobilizers, women groups and grassroots coordinators—each reaffirming their commitment to ensuring the success of the digital membership rollout within the local government and across Adamawa State.
In his welcome address, the APC Chairman of Numan, Hon. Gentle Pharis, highlighted the significance of the E-Registration initiative, describing it as a transformative step toward modernizing party operations. According to him, transitioning from manual registers to a streamlined digital database will enable the party to maintain accurate, accessible, and verifiable records of members across all wards and states.

“E-Registration will allow the APC to maintain a reliable digital record of all members, eliminate duplication, and improve transparency in our internal processes. This is a major step toward the future of political organization in Nigeria,” Pharis stated.
On his part, the Local Government E-Registration Supervisor, Comrade Reuben Löködi, provided a technical briefing on the digital platform, explaining how the innovation will strengthen internal party democracy and make member verification easier and more credible. He added that the system will serve as an effective tool for planning, data analysis, and strategic mobilization.
“This exercise will go a long way in giving the party an accurate, up-to-date database of members. It will also help us know where we are strong, where we are weak, and where we need more mobilization,” Löködi emphasized.
Several prominent stakeholders who spoke during the meeting urged party faithful to fully participate in the digitization process. They also appealed to ward chairmen, youth leaders, and women coordinators to encourage new members to come onboard, stressing that the success of the initiative depends on mass participation at the grassroots.
According to them, APC’s nationwide digital vision is designed not only to modernize operations but also to deepen engagement, particularly among young voters who are increasingly drawn to technology-driven political processes. They reiterated that a digital membership structure will equip the party with vital demographic insights to guide strategic decision-making ahead of future elections.

The meeting ended with a strong call to action: “Join APC now for modern future governance—stronger membership, smarter leadership.”
Party loyalists in Numan expressed confidence that with renewed mobilization, improved digital tracking, and strengthened unity, the APC is well-positioned to reclaim Numan Local Government in the 2027 elections.
