Chief Maurice Vunobolki, Monday, October 5, 2026, joined members of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Numan Local Government Branch, to celebrate International Day of Older Persons/Pensioners. He honour Les the men and women who dedicated years of their lives to serving the state and nation.
In a gesture of appreciation and solidarity, Vunobolki donated ₦1 million to the Numan pensioners and also paid their office rent for one year.

For Vunobolki, supporting pensioners is more than a gesture, it is a responsibility to honour those who built the institutions and communities we benefit from today.
Reflecting on his record of service during the administration of Governor Bala Nglari, Vunobolki reminded the pensioners of his role in championing the transition from the old tablepayment system to electronic payment (e-payment), an important step towards making pension administration more efficient and accessible.
His message was simple: those who served must never be forgotten.
This is the spirit of People, Prosperity and Peace, a leadership philosophy that puts people first and recognises that dignity should follow citizens throughout every stage of life.
