CAN Congratulates Governor Fintiri on Honorary Doctorate Award from UniPort

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Adamawa State Chapter, has extended its congratulations to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, describing the honorary doctorate award he received as “well-deserved” and a testament to his role as the architect of the New Adamawa.

Governor Fintiri has been awarded an Honorary Doctor of Science Degree in Public Administration by the University of Port Harcourt. The award will be presented during the institution’s 35th Convocation ceremony on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

The university conferred this honor in recognition of Governor Fintiri’s distinguished leadership, significant contributions to governance, and unwavering commitment to public service. They hailed him as a transformational leader who has substantially impacted the development trajectory of both Adamawa State and the nation as a whole.
