ADAMAWA FLOOD DEVASTATION: CAN Chairman Extends Sympathy to the Victims.

Rev. Dr. Joel Danjuma Manzo, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Adamawa State, has expressed heartfelt sympathy to the government and people of Yola South in light of the recent flood disasters that have resulted in loss of life and property among residents.
In a statement on behalf of the state Christian community, the Chairman commiserated with those displaced and the families who have lost loved ones due to the floods.
He commended the swift response of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and appealed to all churches, families, and benevolent individuals to donate generously to alleviate the suffering of those affected.
“I extend my deepest sympathy to the victims of the flood disaster. May God intervene to provide comfort, hope, and healing to those impacted. We pray for God’s protection and guidance as we come together to rebuild and recover.”
He encouraged those who have property belonging to flood victims to be compassionate and return it to its rightful owners, stating, “Let us not take advantage of others’ misfortunes; rather, let us show empathy and kindness.”
Furthermore, he urged local authorities to display all lost and found items for the owners to reclaim. He emphasised that this act of kindness will greatly comfort those who have lost both loved ones and belongings.
