

Adamawa State University, Mubi, has once again demonstrated its commitment to global academic engagement as scholars from the institution participated in an international conference hosted by the University of Bamenda, North-Western Region of Cameroon.
The gathering brought together researchers, lecturers, and education experts from across Africa to examine new trends and challenges shaping higher education on the continent.
The conference focused on the theme: “The Paradigm Shift of Global Entrepreneurship Monitor and Sustainable Economic Development in Africa: Accept the Reality or Face the Consequences as a Philosopher.”
Discussions were centred on how African universities can adapt to emerging global economic and technological realities to strengthen innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.

A wide range of topics were presented during the conference, including: Global Entrepreneurial Public Relations, Global Entrepreneurial MIS Education, Leadership Education, Computer Education, Modelling, Architecture, Science, Engineering, Law, Nutrition, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, technology, Artificial Intelligence, Philosophy and Literature.
One of the participants, Jeremiah Alipius Shagnah from the Mass Communication Department, Adamawa State University, Mubi, commended TETFund for sponsoring the conference, describing the initiative as a strategic approach to raising the standard of higher education in Nigeria. He noted that the seminar provided scholars of Adamawa State University with an opportunity to interact with their fellow scholars from different countries and share valuable academic experiences.
Shanah also appreciated the Management of Adamawa State University, under the leadership of Professor Augustine Clement, for its consistent support and pragmatic efforts toward improving teaching, learning, and research within the institution, which is seen visibly with the recent overhaul of the learning environment, thereby making it habitable for students and staff.

With its rich presentations and international participation, the conference further strengthened knowledge exchange and contributed to ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of higher education across Africa.
