Vunobolki Joins Guyuk Community in Thanksgiving

Chief Maurice Vunobolki, PhD, FCA, has outlined his vision for the development of Adamawa State, promising an administration focused on economic growth, human capital development, infrastructure and improved opportunities for the people if elected.

Vunobolki spoke during the 2026 Sinmilalama Cultural Festival and Thanksgiving Service at LCCN No. 1, Guyuk Local Government Area, where he joined members of the Nunguraya community in prayers and thanksgiving.

Addressing the gathering, Vunobolki said his administration would prioritise programmes and policies aimed at improving the living conditions of residents and creating an environment where young people, women and businesses can thrive.

He highlighted the importance of strengthening education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure and employment opportunities, stressing that the state’s resources must be deployed in ways that produce tangible benefits for communities across Adamawa.

The governorship aspirant also emphasised the need for inclusive governance, promising to promote equal opportunities and ensure that development reaches communities across the state’s three senatorial districts.

He said his vision was anchored on accountable leadership, economic empowerment and the effective use of Adamawa’s human and natural resources to drive sustainable development.

The event brought together community members, traditional leaders, families and well-wishers for cultural celebration, worship and reflection on God’s faithfulness to the people of Nunguraya.

Vunobolki’s participation in the festival provided an opportunity for him to interact with residents and share his proposed development agenda as preparations for the 2027 governorship election gather momentum.
