
The President of the Villanova Old Boys Association (VOBA), Bishop Edwin Musa Jarumai, has inaugurated an eight-member Central Planning Committee for the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will be chaired by Hon. Justice Hussaini Abubakar.
In his inaugural speech, Bishop Edwin acknowledged the competence of the selected committee members, expressing confidence in their ability to fulfil their mandates based on their impressive backgrounds.
He outlined the committee’s terms of reference, which include raising funds for the event and organizing a successful AGM scheduled for November 25 to 29, 2025.

The committee is also tasked with liaising and consulting with senior members of VOBA, where applicable, to ensure the event’s success.
Additionally, they are to establish necessary sub-committees and co-opt other members of VOBA as needed to assist in achieving their objectives.
In his acceptance speech, the chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Hon. Justice Hussaini Abubakar, expressed his profound gratitude for the trust placed in them and promised to uphold this confidence.

He assured everyone that the congress would be organized with transparency and accountability and urged support and prayers from the Villanova Old Boys Association and well-meaning Nigerians.
In a vote of thanks, Daniel Sakiyo, who is the secretary general of VOBA, commended the CPC members for the prompt response and assured them of support to fulfil their mandate.

The committee, chaired by Hon. Justice Hussaini Abubakar, includes members Chief Peter Clement, Dahiru Ribadu, Lawson Tadawadon, Fatima A. Umar, Eunice Kiliyobas, Kuleino Faruk, and Samson Bitrus.
