Vunobolki Campaign visits PDP Vice-Presidential Candidate, Pledges Support

The Maurice Vunobolki Campaign Organisation on Tuesday 14th paid a congratulatory and solidarity visit to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) vice-presidential candidate, Alhaji Babangida Modibbo Umaru, at his residence in Yola, Adamawa State.

The visit followed Umaru’s emergence as the PDP running mate to the party’s presidential candidate, Chief Sunday Onor, ahead of the 2027 general election.

Speaking on behalf of Chief Maurice Vunobolki and the campaign organisation, Alhaji Aminu Adamu Kwalli described Umaru’s nomination as a significant milestone for Adamawa State and a reflection of the state’s growing influence within PDP and Nigeria’s political landscape.

Aminu congratulated the vice-presidential candidate on his selection and reaffirmed the campaign’s commitment to mobilising support for the PDP across Adamawa State. He also prayed for a peaceful and successful electoral process.

Responding, the Vice Presidential candidate, expressed appreciation for the visit and commended Chief Maurice Michael Vunobolki for his leadership and commitment to the PDP and public service.

He described Vunobolki as a leader of integrity with the experience required to govern Adamawa State and urged supporters to remain united behind the Vunobolki movement.

Umaru further maintained that the PDP remains one and best positioned to provide effective governance at both the state and national levels as the country approaches the 2027 elections.
