The Epicenter Church in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, is preparing to host the fourth edition of its annual MAD Praise fiesta, featuring gospel music artists from across Nigeria.
MAD stands for “Make a Difference,” and the event is hosted by Pastor Tosin Komolafe and his wife, Jennifer Tosin.
Scheduled for today, December 31st, at 7 PM, all invited artists, including Jeremiah Gyang, Panam Bande, and Patience Sarauniya, have already arrived in Yola.
During a press briefing at Epicenter Church, Senior Pastor Tosin Komolafe highlighted memorable moments from the first three editions of the praise event, focusing on the remarkable miracles witnessed.
“MAD Praise began four years ago, in 2021, in a small room where we experienced an overflow of attendees. Due to the large crowd at the first edition, we held the second edition on a football pitch at FCE Yola, where we still faced inadequate seating because of the turnout,” Pastor Tosin noted.
He also mentioned that the third edition took place at the Fire Service Premises, where this year’s fourth edition will also occur.
“Last year at the Fire Service, we had more than three thousand attendees, making it a historic event,” he added.
Looking ahead to this year’s event, the founder of Epicenter Church expressed confidence that MAD Praise 2024 will be glorious and will lead the community into a blessed 2025. He expressed gratitude to the artists, the organizing committee, and everyone involved in ensuring the success of this religious program.
Pastor Jennifer Tosin shared her thoughts during the briefing, recounting the miracles recorded in all previous editions of MAD Praise, particularly regarding soul salvation and healing from diseases.
She emphasized that the Epicenter Church creates platforms for entrepreneurship and provides young talents with the knowledge necessary to enhance their skills and improve their lives.
Artists from across Nigeria shared their expectations and experiences from previous MAD Praise events, emphasizing the standout performances from last year. They expressed confidence in experiencing another uplifting event this year. The artists praised the church for investing significant resources into expanding the kingdom through impactful music while showcasing their talents to the world.
The microphones at this year’s MAD Praise will be managed by EC Music, Galaxy Band, Panam Bande, Ndatam, E Daniels, Jeremiah Gyang, Patience Sarauniya, Silva D, Cino, Bishop T, and Isaac.
