Celebrating kindness, selflessness and generosity of Emmanuel David Ombugadu is essential and a long overdue gesture, it highlights the positive impact he crates in the lives of men and an entire community, especially of Nasarawa State. Ombugadu’s act of gifting, support and lending a helping hand to people, both the known and the unknown is a long time of history to those who know him and those who heard about his exploits. His humanitarian love and support to people including persons living with disabilities is a commendable gesture that cut across times. Which is why the good people of Nasarawa State are still weeping and lamenting his absence as their governor, to whom they voted for in the 2023 Governorship Election. No wonder he is called; “The Nasarawa State Favorite Son”.
Having the will power to help others, Ombugadu have helped his friends and classmates in time pass to pay their school fees, built infrastructure (Pedestrian Bridge) to create link-access and ease of movement for his fellow students to and from lectures in university days in Port Harcourt.
He, not only provides immediate assistance but also promotes long-term empowerment schemes for guaranteed independence in life, which is always his desire for persons around him.
The Philanthropic Ombugadu, has dedicated his life to supporting people, especially the vulnerable, which is an inspiring reminder of the profound impact he has on countless lives. This compassionate visionary, has made himself a public servant even without the instrument of public/government institution. He has at all time channel his God given resources, time, and energy into breaking down barriers and fostering inclusivity. He has overtime build communities, institutions and individuals for a better tomorrow; especially in his selected constituency of the poor, orphans, widows and persons living with disabilities. Emmanuel David Ombugadu Davematics, in his quest for quality life and healthcare is presently sponsoring over 25,000 rural dwellers in his NHIS Scheme, which cut across the entire Local government Areas of Nasarawa State and beyond being the biggest individual sponsor of NHIS scheme in Nigeria. He also initiated the Water for all Project in the state, with over 1,500 boreholes drilled across communities, for portable and clean drinking water that the government couldn’t provide.
His empowerment scheme is topnotch; offering scholarship support to the children of the Nobody’s, empowerment program, food and non-food interventions across all age and class of beneficiaries. Through his influence and resources, Ombugadu has fostered partnerships with organizations and communities, helped in breaking down barriers and challenging negative societal perceptions, ensuring that people can live fulfilling lives. A commitment that not only transforms individual lives but also encourages others to embrace this Godly culture of kindness.
