M5 Senior Special Assistants Endorse Fintiri for Adamawa North Senate Seat

Senior Special Assistants to Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, from the M5 region have endorsed his ambition to represent Adamawa North Senatorial District at the National Assembly in the 2027 general elections.

The group, comprising Senior Special Assistants from Michika, Madagali, Maiha, Mubi North and Mubi South Local Government Areas, made their position known at a press conference in Mubi.

Speaking on behalf of the group, former Michika Local Government Chairman, Hon. Michael Shehu, said their support was based on Governor Fintiri’s leadership experience, political credibility and achievements in the state.

Shehu cited the administration’s interventions in education, healthcare, road infrastructure, workers’ welfare, urban development and market projects, describing them as evidence of the Governor’s capacity to deliver.

He particularly highlighted the free education policy, including the payment of WAEC and NECO fees, as well as the construction and rehabilitation of roads, flyovers, healthcare facilities and markets across Adamawa.

According to him, Adamawa North requires a senator with the experience, maturity and courage to effectively articulate the interests and aspirations of the people at the National Assembly.

He called on political stakeholders, traditional and community leaders, youths, women and other residents of the senatorial district to support Governor Fintiri’s ambition.

The group also pledged to mobilise and engage communities across the five local government areas towards the actualisation of the Governor’s senatorial bid in the 2027 elections.

They maintained that Adamawa North deserves experienced leadership and effective representation at the National Assembly.
