
The Lamurde Community Stakeholders, Wednesday 26 August, reaffirmed their unwavering support for the governorship ambition of Chief Maurice Vunobolki, describing him as a son whose success represents a shared aspiration for the people of Adamawa State.
The stakeholders made this commitment during a solidarity and support visit to the Vunobolki Campaign Organisation, where they presented a branded Sienna bus to the Campaign Council as a token of their support and commitment to the movement.
Leading the delegation, Pwaveno Haniel Halvogon, FCNA, said the visit was to formally demonstrate their solidarity with Vunobolki and his quest to lead Adamawa State. He further pledged the continued mobilisation of support from Lamurde, including a commitment to deploy their voter strength towards the success of the Vunobolki ticket.

The delegation included the Sarkin Hausawa Lamurde, Secretary of the Lamurde Local Government Council, Lamurde PDP Secretary, and other prominent community and political stakeholders.
In their separate remarks, the stakeholders expressed confidence in Vunobolki’s leadership and pledged to work collectively for the success of the ticket, stressing that Lamurde would be fully mobilised for victory.
Receiving the campaign vehicle on behalf of the Campaign Council, the Deputy Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Abubakar Mahmud Wambai, thanked the delegation for the gesture, describing it as a powerful demonstration of love, confidence and solidarity with their son.
The Director-General of the Campaign Council, Hon. Yerima Adamu Hammantukur Ribadu, also commended the Lamurde stakeholders for their commitment, noting that the vehicle would significantly support the campaign’s grassroots mobilisation and outreach activities.
Speaking via the telephone, Chief Maurice Vunobolki expressed his appreciation to the people of Lamurde for their solidarity and for the generous presentation of the campaign vehicle. He reaffirmed his loyalty and commitment to the people of Adamawa State, stressing that every stakeholder remains an important part of the Vunobolki movement.

Further in the day, the Adamawa Indigenous Young Marketers Association also paid a solidarity visit to the Campaign Council, pledging their unflinching support for the PDP ticket.
Led by Abdullahi Isa, the group appealed to Chief Maurice Vunobolki for intervention at the Adamawa Markets, particularly in addressing challenges affecting their businesses.
Responding, the Director-General appreciated the marketers for their solidarity and assured them that the welfare of traders remains a priority.
On behalf of Chief Maurice Vunobolki, Hon. Abubakar Mahmud Wambai thanked the delegation, stressing that as a businessman, Vunobolki understands the realities facing traders.

He assured that their government will create an enabling environment where businesses can thrive and urged the marketers to become active promoters and grassroots mobilisers for the Vunobolki/Wambai vision.
