Namdas Inaugurates APC Coordinators Across 21 LGAs in Adamawa


A governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas, has inaugurated zonal and Local Government coordinators across the 21 local government areas of Adamawa State, as part of efforts to strengthen his grassroots political structure ahead of the 2027 elections.

The inauguration ceremony, held at Pulapula Hotel in Jimeta, saw the appointment of five coordinators per local government area, including representatives of women and youth groups.

Addressing the newly inaugurated coordinators, Namdas assured that no candidate would be imposed on the people of Adamawa State, stressing the need for a free and fair process. He expressed confidence in Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as the leader of the party in the state, while emphasizing that the electorate must be given the opportunity to choose their preferred candidate.

He further ruled out the option of consensus candidacy, insisting that the democratic process must be allowed to prevail. According to him, creating an enabling environment for voters to make independent choices would strengthen the credibility of the 2027 governorship election.

Namdas maintained that he remains the most qualified among the aspirants, citing his political experience and readiness to engage voters across all 21 local government areas and 226 political wards in the state.
“I am not sponsored by anyone. I have the knowledge, the capacity, and a clear understanding of the political landscape. I am fully prepared to lead Adamawa State,” he said.

The aspirant expressed appreciation to his supporters for their turnout, describing it as a demonstration of loyalty and commitment. He urged the coordinators to sustain the momentum and work diligently towards securing victory in the forthcoming election.

Earlier in his welcome address, Chairman of the Steering Committee, Alhaji Abdulrahman Shuaibu, charged the coordinators to intensify grassroots mobilization in their respective areas to ensure Namdas emerges victorious.
He described Namdas as a detribalised leader, a grassroots politician, and a trustworthy figure committed to the welfare of the people of Adamawa State.

Shuaibu further called on zonal coordinators, women mobilisers, and youth leaders to embark on aggressive house-to-house and door-to-door campaigns before and during the election period.

Speaking on behalf of coordinators from the Northern Zone, Hajiya Amina Usman Bazar expressed optimism about the aspirant’s chances, stating that victory was assured and envisioning Namdas at the Government House, Dougirei Hills.

Also, Alhaji Barkindo Hammanjoda, who spoke for coordinators in the Central Zone, thanked Namdas for the opportunity and pledged their commitment to оправдывать the confidence reposed in them.
Highlights of the event included the formal presentation of appointment letters to the zonal and local government coordinators, along with their assistants.
