TANGWAMI ENGAGES SUPPORT GROUPS, UNVEILS DEVELOPMENT BLUEPRINT FOR ADAMAWA.

Adamawa State governorship hopeful, Chief Dr. Felix Tangwami, has held a strategic engagement with leaders and members of his various support groups across the state, where he formally unveiled his vision and development plans for Adamawa.
The meeting, which drew stakeholders from across the 21 local government areas, served as a platform for interaction, alignment, and mobilization ahead of the 2027 governorship race. Addressing the gathering, Tangwami emphasized the importance of unity, inclusiveness, and collective responsibility in building a more prosperous Adamawa.
Reflecting on his track record in public service, Tangwami highlighted his achievements during his tenure as Chairman of Demsa Local Government Area, as well as his service as Commissioner for Health under Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
He noted that his experience in grassroots administration and the health sector has equipped him with the capacity to deliver people-oriented governance.
“I have had the privilege of serving at both the grassroots and state levels. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the needs of our people and strengthened my commitment to delivering impactful leadership,” he stated.
Tangwami assured his supporters that his ambition is anchored on continuity and consolidation of the achievements recorded by the current administration. He pledged to build on existing developmental strides while introducing innovative policies that will address critical sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, and youth empowerment.
“I am committed to continuing from where Governor Fintiri will stop. I will not betray the confidence reposed in me by the people of Adamawa. Together, we will take this state to greater heights,” he added.
The event was attended by several members of the State Executive Council and political appointees who came out in solidarity. Among them was the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Aloysious Babadoke, who described Tangwami as a visionary leader with proven integrity and administrative competence.
“Chief Tangwami is a man of character, dedication, and capacity. His leadership style is people-centered, and he has consistently demonstrated a passion for service and development,” Babadoke remarked.
Leaders of the various support groups, speaking on behalf of their members, pledged unwavering loyalty and support for Tangwami’s ambition. They described him as a unifying figure with widespread acceptance across political, ethnic, and religious lines.
The speakers unanimously expressed confidence in his ability to lead the state effectively, noting that his track record and personal qualities set him apart as a credible contender in the upcoming election.
The engagement concluded with a renewed call for grassroots mobilization and sustained collaboration among supporters, as Tangwami continues consultations across the state in pursuit of his governorship ambition.
