The Council Chairman of Numan, Hon. Innocent Koto, has called on stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to uphold unity to advance the party’s interests.
Hon. Koto made this appeal during the recent PDP local government stakeholders meeting held in the Numan local government area of Adamawa State.

He praised Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who also chairs the PDP convention planning committee, for his efforts in maintaining party unity in Adamawa State. Koto emphasised that there is little room for opposition in the region’s politics.
The chairman also acknowledged the loyalty of party supporters in the Numan local government area, commending their unity and resilience against the emergence of new coalitions. He noted that such coalitions have not gained popularity locally, largely due to the accomplishments achieved under Governor Fintiri’s leadership.

“I wonder who would join the coalition? Who could challenge Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on developmental projects and remain heedless after our leader has enlightened the masses of Adamawa?” he stated.

Koto further encouraged PDP stakeholders in the local government area to remain united and to continue advancing the party’s objectives. He assured them that the PDP would remain indivisible in Numan.
Additionally, he pledged his support for the successful organisation of the party’s upcoming ward congresses in the local government area.

Notable stakeholders present at the meeting included Barrister Kwamoti La’ori, member of the House of Representatives for Numan, Demsa, and Lamurde; Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta; Chief Dr. Maurice Vunobolki; and RT. Hon. Pwamwakaino Makondo, a member of the House of Assembly, among others.
