
The Vice Chancellor of Adamawa State University, Mubi, Prof. Augustine Clement, has urged the sports contingent to serve as exemplary ambassadors for the university and to strive for victory.
Professor Clement addressed over 60 members of the contingent who will participate in the Nigerian University Staff Sports Association (NUSSA) games.
He emphasised that this competition offers a valuable opportunity for university staff to connect with colleagues from institutions across the country, discuss important issues, and promote unity and peace.

The competition will feature teams from both public and private universities throughout Nigeria. It is set to begin shortly after a technical committee meeting, which includes draws and accreditation exercises scheduled for May 22, 2025, at Bayero University, Kano.
The Adamawa State University, Mubi team consists of 71 athletes and coaches, with Grace Sajo serving as the Acting Director of Sports and Team Leader.
