Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has expressed his dedication to enhancing the educational landscape through progressive policies and strategic investments that promise to drive development throughout the state.

During a visit from pupils of the AUN Elementary School, the governor, represented by his Chief of Staff, Dr Edgar Amos, underscored this commitment at the Government House in Yola.

Governor Fintiri expressed a warm welcome to the students, emphasizing the high priority his administration places on education. This commitment is reflected in substantial investments across primary, secondary, and tertiary education levels.

He pointed out that the development of any nation is closely linked to its educational achievements and highlighted several impactful initiatives.

These include school feeding programs, the coverage of WAEC and NECO fees, scholarship provisions, and the ongoing recruitment and professional development of teachers.

Dr. Amos further enriched the discussion by outlining the structure of the government and its key functions, thereby fostering a deeper understanding among the students.

Before this, Mr. Aderemi Husseini, the school supervisor leading the pupils, commended the governor for his transparent policies and initiatives that significantly benefit the citizens of the state.

The tour culminated in noteworthy moments, including the presentation of certificates recognizing Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and Deputy Professor Kaletapwa Farauta for their commitment to good governance.

Additionally, students presented a poem celebrating the infrastructural advancements in Adamawa State, highlighting the positive changes underway.
