Maj. Gen. Waidi Shua’ibu, the Commander of Operation Hadin Kai, expressed optimism about achieving remarkable successes against the terrorists disrupting the peace and socio-economic activities of the Northeast region.
He made these remarks during the graduation and commissioning of the Theatre Command Training School and the renovation of its Defence Company Transit complex at Maimalari Cantonment in Maiduguri.
Major General Shua’ibu emphasized the importance of the Nigerian Army’s mandate to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, stressing the need for well-trained and professional personnel to achieve greater operational successes on the battlefield and effectively address counter-operation challenges or threats.
He also called on Nigerians to cooperate with the Nigerian Army by providing intelligence to help combat terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping in the country.
