Weeks after the Federal Government announced that has sent twenty trucks of food to each state, the Adamawa State Government says it is yet to see even a single truck.
Secretary to the State Government, Auwal Tukur, revealed this to the press shortly after an expanded security meeting called at the instance of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
The meeting, held at the government house in Yola, was attended by heads of security operatives, traditional rulers, and top government officials.
In a briefing after the meeting, Auwal Tukur highlighted the meeting’s focus on the general security of the state, the recent End Bad Governance protest, hunger, and other developmental issues.
He attributed the peaceful nature of the End Bad Governance demonstration in Adamawa to the proactive governance of Governor Fintiri.
