As the Muslim community prepares to observe the 2025 Ramadan fast, the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Adamawa State Chapter, has encouraged the Ummah to engage in acts of charity, prayer, and kindness.
In a statement, the Chairman, Rev. Dr. Joel Danjuma Manzo, extended warm wishes to the Muslim community for a peaceful and blessed Ramadan. He expressed hope that this holy month will bring spiritual growth, reflection, and renewal among the Muslim faithful throughout the state.
“As you observe the fast and dedicate time to prayer and charitable acts, I pray that God grants you strength, endurance, courage, and wisdom to fulfil His will,” Rev. Dr Manzo stated. “May your efforts lead to a deeper connection with the all-knowing God and foster a stronger sense of community well-being. I wish you a smooth and successful Ramadan.”
The Christian Association emphasized the importance of understanding, togetherness, peace, harmony, and respect among different faiths. They advocate for promoting interfaith relationships and collaboration to foster a peaceful state and humanity as a whole.
Rev. Dr. Manzo also prayed that the blessings of this spiritual commitment extend beyond the Muslim community, radiating across the entire nation and promoting peaceful coexistence at all times.
