Iran has outright rejected the call for restraint from France, Germany, and the United Kingdom regarding Israel.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry firmly argues that the call lacks political logic and blatantly contradicts principles of international law.
The European powers have urged Iran and its allies to immediately cease any attacks on Israel to prevent further escalation of tensions and maintain the possibility of a ceasefire in Gaza.
Iran and its allies are fully expected to retaliate against Israel militarily following the recent killings of senior members of Hezbollah and Hamas in Lebanon and Iran.
Israel, facing disruptions in arms shipments during the conflict, is taking steps to significantly increase domestic production of weapons, including heavy bombs such as the 1-ton “dumb” bomb, similar to the US-made Mark 84.
The US previously suspended delivery of this bomb type in May due to concerns about its use during Israel’s invasion of Rafah.
Additionally, Israel plans to significantly bolster domestic production of armaments, including tank ammunition and shells.
