The Honorable Commissioner of the Ministry of Health and Human Services, Chief Felix B. Tangwami Garkuwan Mbula, has undertaken the delivery of crucial medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to the General Hospital in Jada.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to manage cases of Acute Watery Diarrhea, by the directives of His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State.
The transfer of supplies was formally conducted in the presence of key officials, including the Executive Chairman of the Jada Local Government Council, the Executive Secretary of the Primary Health Care Authority in Jada, the Director of Public Health, and the Director of Disease Control and Immunization.
Furthermore, Honorable Felix B. Tangwami has underscored the critical need for enhanced surveillance in communities deemed high-risk.
He has also initiated a house-to-house sensitization campaign aimed at educating the public on preventive measures against the disease
