
The Adamawa State Government is making significant progress in enhancing its administrative functions by actively using technology. This initiative aims to promote greater transparency and improve data management practices within the state. As part of this effort, the State Planning Commission organised a training session for 21 local government monitoring and evaluation officers.
In a proactive move towards embracing e-governance, monitoring and evaluation officers from all 21 council areas of Adamawa State gathered at the state secretariat for a two-day workshop. The focus of this workshop was to deepen their understanding of how to integrate technology into governance practices. The event, organised by the Adamawa State Planning Commission with vital funding from Governor Fintiri, is a crucial step toward modernising governance in the state.
Mary Paninga, the Executive Chairman of the Commission, emphasised the importance of this meeting, which received full support from the Adamawa State Governor.

Throughout the program, participants were provided with tablets and received thorough training on the advanced functionalities of these devices.
