The Acting District Head of Kirchinga, Alhaji Lawan Abubakar Umar, has congratulated Dr. Ali Danburam on his appointment as Ptil Madagali.
In a statement he signed and shared with newsmen in Yola on Tuesday evening, Alhaji Lawan described Dr. Danburam’s appointment and approval by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as well-deserved.
Recently, Governor Fintiri announced the creation of seven chiefdoms, comprising second-class and third-class chiefs, to address the ungoverned spaces in Adamawa State.
In light of the preparations for escorting Ptil Madagali to his palace in Gulak on Wednesday, Alhaji Lawan Abubakar Umar welcomed this development.
The traditional ruler, who also serves as the Chairman of the Parents-Teachers Association in Adamawa State, expressed confidence that Dr. Ali Danburam would lead by example, given his exemplary leadership in various capacities before this appointment.
Alhaji Lawan also congratulated the people of Madagali for having such a capable monarch to guide them.
In his role as Acting District Head of Kirchinga, he pledged to collaborate with Ptil Madagali for their mutual success and promised to provide strong leadership for their communities.
He called for support from all stakeholders in the Madagali chiefdom and throughout Adamawa State to assist their traditional rulers and support the administration of Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, emphasizing the governor’s commitment to the welfare of the people.
Alhaji Lawan concluded his statement by commending Governor Fintiri for his wise decision to create chiefdoms and address the needs of ungoverned areas in Adamawa State.
