The Member representing Nassarawo Binyeri Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Babangida Njidda, has urged residents of his constituency to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking in an interview with NAS FM, Hon. Njidda emphasized the importance of the PVC, noting that it is a vital tool not only for voting but also for being eligible to contest in elections.
Acknowledging the ongoing farming season in the largely agrarian communities of Nassarawo Binyeri, Hon. Babangida appealed to residents to make time from their busy farming activities to visit the designated registration centers in the area.
He stressed that the right to vote and be voted for can only be exercised through proper registration with INEC and possession of a valid PVC.
In the same interview, Hon. Njidda also called on the Adamawa State Government to prioritize the rehabilitation of the Mararaban Tola–Binyeri Road. He highlighted the urgent need for repairs, especially during the current harvest season, to facilitate the smooth transportation of farm produce and ease the burden on local farmers.
